eJobs: Bucharest accounts for nearly half of Romania’s job openings in 2026
Brașov recorded the biggest climb in the recruitment ranking, moving from fifth place in 2025 to second this year.

Almost 150,000 jobs were posted on recruitment platform eJobs.ro between January and September 10, 2026, with 71,000 of them based in Bucharest. The capital therefore accounted for nearly half of all vacancies advertised nationwide.
The county of Brașov ranked second for the number of job openings, followed by Ilfov, Cluj, Iași, Constanța, and Timiș.
